 | | Witam w mojej galerii. Jak wielu amerykanów polskiego pochodzenia, wychowałem się w polskiej dzielnicy w jednej z miejscowości stanu Ohio. Chociaż urodziłem się w USA, rodzina moja pochodzi z okolic Krakowa i Karpat. | | Prawie wszystkie prezentowane prace fotografowane były Pentaxem 6x7. Film był następnie skanowany wysokiej rozdzielczości skanerem Minolta. Fotografuje zarówno na kolorowych jak i czarno białych negatywach oraz na slajdach. O wyborze filmu decydują warunki świetlne, obiekt fotografowany oraz nastrój, jaki chcę utrwalić na fotografii. Posługiwanie się tradycyjną kamerą jest niewątpliwie trudniejsze niż fotografowanie aparatem cyfrowym, ale pozwala na uzyskanie bezkompromisowej jakości obrazu. Średniego formatu filmy, charakteryzujące się wysoką rozdzielczością, duża rozpiętością tonalną oraz minimalna | | Dziękuje za odwiedzenie mojej galerii. |  | | Greetings and welcome to my gallery. Like many Polish Americans, I grew up in a predominately Polish neighborhood in Ohio. Although I was born in America, my family traces itself back to the Krakow region and the Carpathian Mountains. | | The photographs that you will be viewing here were created, with a few exceptions, using the Pentax 6x7 medium format system. The developed film was digitally scanned on a high resolution Minolta film scanner. I use both color print and slide film, as well as some black and white film, depending on the lighting conditions, subject, and mood that I wish to convey. This format provides me with uncompromising quality. And while it is more difficult to use than most digital cameras, the greater resolution, expanded gray scale, and fine grain produce for me a more pleasing image. I am able to have archival quality prints made in much larger sizes than what would be possible with other techniques. | | Thank you for your visit. | | | |  | | | |
